On Thursday, 18th June 2026, a professional and educational event dedicated to the latest solutions in the fields of embroidery, process digitalisation, and textile production was held at the headquarters of Rigo in Slovenia.
The event attracted numerous visitors from Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and other countries in the region, who had the opportunity to learn about the latest developments and practical possibilities offered by modern solutions for the embroidery industry.
The main part of the programme was led by a representative from Wilcom, Clement Rhinn, who presented tips and tricks for working with Wilcom Embroidery Studio, as well as the latest features of the software.
Visitors were also able to see live demonstrations of GMI solutions for automatic cutting of emblems and patches using a laser plotter with a camera, as well as the GMI CamStitch system for positioning and application. The demonstrations on Ricoma embroidery machines particularly attracted attention, where participants could follow the entire process from design preparation to finished product.
At the event, partners Commerce Trgovina d.o.o. Ljubljana and Giemmepi Italia also participated. Commerce presented materials and accessories from renowned manufacturers Amann, Groz-Beckert, Textilia, and Freudenberg, while Giemmepi Italia showcased a professional heat-fixing machine for thermal fixation of transfers and finishing of textile products through a practical demonstration.
The significant interest of participants, numerous questions, and the exchange of experiences confirmed that education, practical demonstrations, and personal meetings remain exceptionally important for the development of the textile and garment industry.
