CNC CUTTING MACHINE FOR POLYURETHANE FOAM – SPONGE (BAND KNIFE) ASTOR 2.2.
ASTOR 2.2 is a band knife CNC (Computer Numerical Control) machine for cutting polyurethane foam. This model cuts various densities of flexible polyurethane, as well as other materials such as viscoelastic foam, memory foam, melamine foam, etc. The machine is controlled by POLYCUT CAD-CAM software, which enables high cutting precision and productivity. Thanks to Industry 4.0 technology, ASTOR 2.2 achieves important goals such as energy saving, simulation and operational flexibility, remote support via TCP-IP protocol, and direct photographic capture of parts on the panel.
ASTOR 2.2 features a high level of technology – the entire machine is controlled by ETHERCAT, ensuring the highest possible data transfer speed and significant cutting precision. Furthermore, energy-saving technology allows the machine to operate with an installed power of only 3 kW, providing significant energy efficiency. The CAD-CAM software that controls the machine is developed entirely in-house and is user-friendly, simplifying the positioning and cutting of parts. The CAD is equipped with a powerful and intuitive system, inspired by the drawing concept typical of AutoCAD, and allows working with any software in DXF format without the need for file conversion.
