At Rigo d.o.o., on October 23rd in Komen, we organized the first Day of Innovation in Upholstery – an event that brought together companies, experts, and partners from Croatia and the wider region.
Our goal was to create a space for knowledge exchange, showcase new technologies, and encourage collaboration in an industry that is rapidly evolving and undergoing digital transformation.
The event attracted over a hundred participants – representatives from companies, craftsmen, and experts in upholstery, furniture manufacturing, and textile technology. Together, we discussed trends, innovations, and the future of an industry built on connectivity and knowledge transfer.
Innovation and technology at the heart of the event
At the event, we showcased the latest solutions for digitalization, automation, and optimization of production processes, helping companies improve efficiency and reduce material consumption. Special emphasis was placed on CAD/CAM systems and their integration with advanced cutting and sewing technologies, enabling higher precision, faster workflows, and more sustainable production.
We were delighted to see participants’ interest in practical demonstrations of the technologies and in expert discussions about the challenges faced by modern upholstery production.
